The Parents and Friends perform two vital roles in the school:
- Promotion of the school community by arranging appropriate functions where all members of the school can meet together socially.
- Organisation of fundraising efforts, which provide part of the funds at the local contribution level.
- The Parents and Friends meet on dates to be advised on our school newsletter.
All parents are members of the Parents and Friends Association upon enrolment and are encouraged to actively participate in all P&F activities.
Significant events that the Parents and Friends are responsible for:
FEBRUARY:
- Welcome Night – at the beginning of the school year
- Elmore Charity Ball
MARCH
- Golden Hammer Day – Community celebration of the Feast of St Joseph
- Elmore Tractor Pull – a partnership with the Elmore Events Centre
- Easter Raffle
OCTOBER:
- Elmore Field Days
DECEMBER:
- End of Year Community Celebration
Every third year, St Joseph’s host a Debutante Ball. This is a wonderful event for the young ladies of our community.
- St Joseph’s will host the 2025 Rochester Debutante Ball
