Classroom wellbeing practices

Morning Circle

This is a time before learning begins to check in with students. Teachers spend some time greeting students and supporting their transition from home to school. Announcements for the day are given and the visual timetable for the day is presented to the students, school expectations are revised, especially the weekly BLITZ and expectations. Students experience positive interactions at the beginning of each day to support them to be ready to learn.

What Went Well

At the end of each day teachers and students reflect on their day and name something that Went Well for them during the day. Students are dismissed remembering the positive events for them during the school day.
